Our Story

Twenty-plus years of operational discipline, rebuilt for today.

OMS Reimagined was originally founded in Stuttgart, Germany, in 2000, under the name OMS, built on a methodology developed by Dee Johnson. With more than two decades of operational experience spanning multiple countries, economic cycles, and technological transformations, our CEO, AJ Johnson, has spent recent years rebuilding that original foundation into something built for how organizations actually operate today. What started as one operator's internal discipline is now the structured system we bring to every client engagement: strong enough to help organizations not just survive change, but thrive through it.

Our Approach

One coherent operating system, not six separate fires.

Instead of treating finance, HR, legal, compliance, and IT as unrelated problems, we organize your operations into five domains: Deliver, Demand, Resource, Protect, and Direct. Together they cover everything from whether you can actually ship the work, to whether anyone is watching the obligations that could shut you down.

Every organization runs on all five, whether it’s a sole proprietor or a company of ten thousand. What changes isn’t which domains exist. It’s how much structure each one needs. So we look at all five and go deep only where your business genuinely warrants it, rather than handing you a generic maturity score or telling you which “stage” you’re supposed to be at. It’s the same discipline behind the original Stuttgart methodology, carried forward rather than reinvented from scratch.

Where We Work

Built for companies at every stage, on both sides of the Atlantic.

We work with organizations in the United States and Europe, including businesses entering the US market for the first time, and established organizations preparing for their next phase of sustainable growth. From foundational operational builds to senior-level advisory work, everything we do is centered on one goal: giving organizations the systems, structure, and leadership they need to grow across functions, teams, and markets.

Most organizations don’t struggle with the thing they are good at. They struggle with everything holding it up. That is the work: building resilient businesses for a changing world.
